Essential Items for Your Self Love Experience

To ensure your comfort and readiness, please review the following list of essentials to bring for your stay.

Clothing

  • Layers: The weather can be unpredictable, so pack a variety of clothing layers to accommodate changes in temperature.
    • T-shirts, long-sleeved shirts, hoodies, jackets, and rain gear
  • Comfortable Shoes: Bring sturdy boots for outdoor work and comfortable shoes for relaxation.
  • Ceremonial Wear: Include attire that you feel comfortable wearing during our sacred ceremonies. This could be traditional wear or something that holds personal significance. (*Each ceremony maintains a specific dress code; please be sure to confirm attire prior to attending a particular ceremony.)
  • Extra Socks and Underwear: Always useful to have spares!

Food and Water

  • Drinking Water: Bring enough water to stay hydrated throughout your stay.
  • Prepared Meals and Snacks: Pack enough food for the duration of your stay, including meals that can be warmed up.
  • Potluck Contribution: If youโ€™re joining us for a communal meal, please bring a dish to share.
  • Reusable Utensils and Plates: Help us reduce waste by bringing your own.

Ceremonial Essentials

  • Sacred Gifts: Tobacco, cedar, lavender, or any other items that you feel called to bring as offerings during our ceremonies.
  • Instruments: If you have drums, rattles, or other instruments, feel free to bring them for our drumming and song sessions.
  • Journal: A personal journal for reflection and note-taking during your stay.

Sleeping Supplies

  • Tent: If you prefer privacy, bring your own tent. Alternatively, we offer communal sleeping spaces in bell tents.
  • Sleeping Bag and Mat: Essential for warmth and comfort during the night.
  • Extra Blankets and Pillows: For added warmth and comfort.
  • Personal Comfort Items: Anything that will help you feel at home and at ease.

Camping Essentials

  • Gloves and Bug/Tick Spray: Essential for outdoor work and personal comfort. Please consider using a bug/tick spray that is as natural as possible.
  • Flashlight or Headlamp: For moving around the sanctuary after dark.
  • Reusable Water Bottle: Stay hydrated while reducing waste.
  • Personal Care Items: Toiletries, medications, and any other personal care items you may need.
