Taíno Woods Sanctuary — November Newsletter
“Walking in Gratitude & Preparing for the Stillness”
Tai Guey Itainos!🪶
As the final leaves fall and the nights grow long, we give thanks to our ancestors, to the fires that have kept us warm, nourished and to each of you who continue to walk this sacred path with us. November calls us to slow down, to tend the embers within, and to remember that rest is also ceremony.
💀 Reflections from Día de los Muertos Lodge
What a powerful gathering. As the veil thinned, we sat in prayer, song, and remembrance. We honored our loved ones who have crossed and welcomed their wisdom to guide our next steps.
Bo Matum to all who entered the lodge with open hearts and to those who supported from afar. Every prayer, every song, and every offering nourishes the web of life.
🪓 Volunteer Weekend: Winter Preparations
📅 November 14th – 16th
Help us prepare the sanctuary for winter—stacking firewood, securing tents, and tending to the land that holds our prayers.
Your hands are medicine, your time sacred. Meals and warm tea will be shared around the fire.
