Taino Woods Update – July 2021
Greetings Familia,
This Saturday July 17th at 11am, Taino Woods is hosting a sweat lodge: Prayer Sweat for Family to bring Prosperity, Purpose, Unity, and the Release of what no longer serves us. The sweat lodge is a sacred space to heal and express ourselves with our ancestors and community. It is extremely powerful and held with great reverence. Please come and join us in ceremony. Our Growth:
Because of your charity, Taino Woods has purchased chainsaws and wood for hosting our upcoming sweat lodges. We were able to host our summer solstice event because of you. Our Gathering of the Tribes Summer Solstice event was a wonderful experience of beautiful people coming together and sharing art, food, spoken word, and music. Volunteers:
A humble call to volunteers. We are seeking your assistance in building and prepping the sweat lodge for the August 22nd ceremony. Our volunteer dates for this build are: Friday 8/6/21 through Sunday 8/8/22 and Friday 8/13/21 through Sunday 8/15/21. Sunday August 22nd, Taino Woods will be hosting a Full Moon sweat lodge. As a predecessor to this Saturday’s July 17th Prayer sweat lodge in which we let go of what no longer serves us, our August ceremony will be to receive all of the intentions we have set for ourselves and others.
