With the gentle breeze of Spring upon us, we extend our warmest greetings to you all. It is with great joy and anticipation that we gather once again to share the latest news and updates from our beloved sanctuary.

Spring Equinox: A Time of Birth and Renewal
In the Caney ceremony of Equinox, we celebrate the delicate balance between beginnings and endings. As Spring Equinox approaches, we enter a sacred time of renewal, marking the birth of the yearly cycle. This celestial event holds deep significance as the Cosmic Matriarch Ata Bey graciously bestows upon us the gift of her son, Yoka Hu, embodied in the form of the Spring Sun and the gentle rains that nourish the Earth. As we witness this harmonious balance between light and darkness, we are reminded of Ata Bey’s boundless generosity and the eternal cycle of birth, growth, and renewal, (Behike Miguel Sague, https://caneycircle.wordpress.com/equinox/).

Spring Equinox: A Lodge Prayer:
Join us for a sacred Spring Equinox Lodge Prayer ceremony led by Miguel Sague on April 13th and 14th, 2024. This special event will include the construction and purification sweat lodge, spanning overnight for a deeply immersive experience.

Please note that the ceremony’s timing is subject to the readiness of the Land. We’ll be in touch to confirm this weekend for the lodge build once we’ve assessed the Land’s readiness. In the event the Land isn’t ready, we will hold the purification lodge in our upper lodge.

We extend a heartfelt shout-out to our entire community for your continued support and participation in our ceremonies. Your presence enriches our gatherings and strengthens our bonds.

To participate, the contribution is $75 per person for the day pass, $125 for the overnight stay, or $175 for a family of four.

We’re calling for volunteers to join us the weekend before (April 6th and 7th, 2024) to help cut the saplings needed for the lodge construction. Your assistance in preparing for this sacred ceremony is deeply appreciated.
